In my opinion, creativity has always been just a different way of thinking. A way of thinking that isn’t glued to the social norms, it can range from music, to design, to just a drawing. It does get deeper than that though, with the right brain theory, which explains that the right brain is the side that has more creative ideas, and analyzes using images and sounds, whereas the left brain is more of an impulse control and logical region. Those who can override their impulse control, and sometimes put off the logical side of things, are right-brainers. So, rather than just going with what most people would do (The norm), they do things their own way and generally have a broad imagination with plenty of great ideas. The truly creative people are the ones that let the ideas flow, without getting stopped by the left brain.
